All Aboard Washington, a non-profit organization that promotes better passenger rail service in the Pacific Northwest, and The Greater Yakima Chamber of Commerce, are pleased to co-sponsor the Central Washington Passenger Rail Summit online.
The purposes of the summit are to:
- Increase public awareness regarding the feasibility and economic benefits of restoring passenger rail service to Central Washington
- Encourage state, regional and local organizations to incorporate passenger rail into their planning efforts
- Increase support from the public and from elected representatives
All are welcome to attend, including:
- State and local government representatives from Yakima, Kittitas, Benton, and Franklin Counties
- Business owners
- General public
